My Name Is Andong
Germany
Приєднався 12 кві 2009
Hey! I'm Andong, a Berlin-based food UA-camr, exploring the world in the pursuit of good food, cooking techniques and the stories behind those things.
I discovered my passion for food when I lived in China. I have since returned to Germany, become a filmmaker and make weekly videos about food, culture and cooking!
I started this channel in 2018. I've been on UA-cam for ages though - feel free to check my super old and cringy content, partly consisting of mandarin rap videos that went viral in China. I'm leaving them up cause I think they're awkward and fun. But I'm all about food now, I promise!
You're welcome to join the club and bring the world a little closer by sharing and learning about our food cultures.

I Cracked the Code to DIY Gummy Bears
Every time I tried making chips they either turn out soggy or burned. And yes, I tried doing multiple shorter fry passes, I've tried drying them, I've tried cooling them, I've tried different temperatures, I've tried pre-cooking them, I've tried washing them. But I don't worry about the old oil. I have a bottle for oil reuse. After it cooled down I pass it through a coffee filter and keep it for the next deep fry. The filter keeps out most of the particles, but the oil is still flavoured from whatever I had in it, so it's no good for baking or frying other things. Oh, and there are also thick conveyor chips.
I bet potato chips go back to the Roman empire.
What do I do with the syrup once I'm done with it, do I put it in the fridge or do I leave it out on the counter?
It's that Cantonese cuisine that's so good! For the longest time I thought all Chinese food was Cantonese because that's all I knew in Peru. My favorite is the wonton soup and the crispy Chow Mein. Bless the Cantonese migrants, very hardworking people with ingenuity to create dishes adapted to the Peruvian palate.
Potato peeler and remove zest without pith in large strips also saves from straining 😊
Great content, but please straighten your glasses.. ;p
The all 50 🌭...
This is disgusting.
Cocaine has nothing to do with cocacola flavor
I love soda! 🥤
chese the best
why do you talk so much
Stick the lemons and limes on a drill
SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY
I learned a long time ago that Fanta has more sugar in their cans and bottles than actual water! Fanta Orange and Grape have more sugar than any soda drink I have ever seen when reading the ingredients. The day I seen that, I never drink either soda flavor again. That has been at least 15 plus years! Nice experiments. It's always fun figuring stuff out like this.
Water has no sugar, so everything has more sugar than water 😅
I’m here because I tried this today with no prior research, I made the giant meat tornado, jaw chicken sliced super thin with garlic, lemon, olive oil, Greek yogurt, paprika, and onion. I stacked it in a metal food processor cup and baked it very low. It’s in my freezer now. Might just try turning it around in my toaster at this rate.
let's arbitrarily make our food taste like a cigarette butt for whatever reason. yeah, no, don't smoke your biryani
If they were resorting to making soda out of bin juice in the 1940's i shudder to think what they are using these days.
I wanna try it ? I like fanta strawberry 🍓 but ya .
I’m putting thc in this 😂
Oh come on! Everybody knows there was cocaine in the original old coke-a-cola, why are they trying to change history
try Almdudler, Toffifee, Limburger, wodka Ahoi and Bananenweizen,
where did you get the bottles
petition for uncle roger to see this
Rootbeer next?
Coke has cola nut in it. Like every other cola. Also usa likes a syrupy drink.
Now they use artificial flavouring agents and detergent 😊
I see Fanta is a protein shake then!
I'm on team rustic.
Hmm useful. Making chips is hard but eating is sooooooo simple
Cool...now do Coca-Colas original recipe
Where's the white stuff?
Whats the name of your old rice cooker?
Can you make Teem? Think about it
but you didnt put it in a casing. . . .
I feel like we moved on really quickly from the revelation that Fanta is a Nazi invention
People in the comments do not know what whey is 😭
Actually coca cola created fanta and sold it to the nazis since they couldnt openly sell coca cola to them. Still team coca cola btw.
This is great !
If you use the zester "up side down" and move that what you want to zest. This way you can see what you are doing and not go too deep. After you can just dump the built up zest and continu if needed.
I have a hard time believing you when you tell me that this drink that's made from kitchen trash tastes good.
‘People’ got creative…
So fanta is the go to Supplement for gym goers ?
Him saying L’Chaim at the end was such a based power move
Fanta sux got to do crush
more heathier than factory mad I mean dude it's much more better if you use organic ingredieances
How to destroy yours sodastream
i have fallen in love with your grandparents. you need to make an entire series with them!!!
